- Tap the "Extract Colors from Photo" button on the main screen
- Choose to take a new photo or select from your photo library
- The app will automatically analyze the image and extract the dominant colors
- You can adjust the number of colors to extract (3-6 for premium users)
- Save the extracted colors to a palette or individual swatches

To cancel your premium subscription:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Select "Subscriptions"
- Find "Color Palette" in your active subscriptions
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm the cancellation
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Color Palette uses advanced color science algorithms to provide the most accurate matches possible. However, color matching results are provided for reference only and may not be 100% accurate due to:
- Screen calibration differences
- Lighting conditions when photos were taken
- Variations in color reproduction across different devices
- Brand color database updates
For critical applications, we recommend verifying colors with physical swatches or professional color tools.
Yes! Color Palette works offline for most features including:
- Color extraction from photos

- Viewing saved palettes and swatches
Some features may require an internet connection:
- Premium subscription verification
- Sharing palettes and images
- Accessing the latest color brand databases
To share your color palettes:
- Open the palette you want to share
- Tap the share button (square with arrow)
- Choose your preferred sharing method (Messages, Mail, Social Media, etc.)
- The palette will be shared as an image with color information
Premium users can also share palette overlays on images for presentations and design work.
Troubleshooting
App crashes or won't open
- Force close the app and restart it
- Restart your iPhone
- Check for iOS updates
- Reinstall the app from the App Store
Color extraction not working
- Ensure you have granted camera and photo library permissions
- Try with a different photo
- Make sure the photo has good lighting and clear colors
- Check that you have sufficient storage space
Premium features not available
- Verify your subscription is active in iPhone Settings
- Try restoring purchases in the app
- Check your internet connection
- Contact support if the issue persists
Can't save palettes or swatches
- Check if you've reached the free tier limits (5 palettes, 5 swatches)
- Upgrade to premium for unlimited storage
